Services
All sessions are thoughtfully customized to your individual needs and may incorporate a blend of techniques, including neuromuscular therapy, nervous system regulation, lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, cupping, passive and active stretching, myofascial release, acupressure, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Each treatment is tailored to support your specific goals — whether focused pain relief, injury recovery, stress reduction, or overall wellness.
First-Time Appointment
For first-time appointments, Angela includes a complimentary 15-minute intake and assessment period prior to the start of hands-on treatment. This time is used to review health history, evaluate current concerns, and perform any necessary postural or movement assessments. The full scheduled session time remains dedicated to hands-on care.
Neuromuscular massage
A focused, results-oriented therapy designed to relieve chronic pain, restore balance, and improve muscular function. This technique works specifically with trigger points — areas of tight, hyper-irritable muscle fibers that can refer pain to other parts of the body.
Using precise, sustained pressure and targeted techniques, neuromuscular therapy helps:
-
Reduce chronic muscle tension
-
Relieve referred pain patterns
-
Improve posture and structural alignment
-
Increase range of motion
-
Restore healthy circulation to affected tissues
Neuromuscular massage is especially beneficial for conditions such as repetitive strain injuries, neck and shoulder pain, low back pain, sciatica, headaches, and sports-related tension patterns.
Sessions are interactive and therapeutic. Communication about pressure and sensation is important, as work is applied gradually and intentionally to release restricted areas without overwhelming the nervous system.
This modality is ideal for clients seeking long-term relief and functional improvement rather than simple relaxation.
Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy
Provides therapeutic support throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period. This specialized bodywork is designed to address the physical, hormonal, and emotional changes that occur before and after birth. During pregnancy, the body adapts rapidly to support a growing baby. These changes can lead to low back pain, hip and pelvic discomfort, sciatic tension, neck and shoulder strain, swelling, and fatigue. Prenatal massage uses safe positioning, supportive bolstering, and modified techniques to relieve discomfort while promoting relaxation and circulation.
Postpartum massage supports recovery after childbirth by helping to:
-
Reduce muscle tension and fatigue
-
Improve circulation and lymphatic flow
-
Support core and postural realignment
-
Ease neck, shoulder, and upper back strain from nursing and infant care
-
Promote emotional grounding and nervous system balance
Each session is carefully tailored to your stage of pregnancy or recovery. Techniques are adjusted to ensure comfort and safety, with thoughtful attention to areas that may be contraindicated.
Pre- and perinatal massage is both therapeutic and nurturing — supporting the body’s resilience during one of life’s most transformative seasons.
Nervous System Regulation Massage Therapy
A gentle, restorative treatment designed to help calm an overactive stress response and support the body’s natural ability to heal.
Chronic stress, trauma, burnout, pain, and prolonged physical tension can keep the nervous system in a constant state of “fight or flight.” Over time, this state of dysregulation may contribute to anxiety, sleep disturbances, muscle tension, digestive issues, fatigue, and persistent pain.
This session focuses on shifting the body into a parasympathetic (“rest and restore”) state through slow, intentional touch, rhythmic techniques, supported positioning, and mindful pacing. The goal is not to force change, but to create a safe environment where the body can unwind naturally.
Sessions may include:
-
Slow, grounding massage techniques
-
Gentle myofascial work
-
Breath awareness cues
-
Craniosacral-informed touch
-
Supportive bolstering for full-body comfort
Clients often report feeling deeply relaxed, more present, emotionally balanced, and physically lighter after a session. This therapy is especially beneficial for those experiencing chronic stress, burnout, trauma-related tension patterns, or nervous system sensitivity.
Sports massage
A therapeutic treatment designed to support muscle recovery, injury prevention, and improved athletic performance. This focused massage targets the muscles used during physical activity and helps relieve tension caused by training, repetitive movement, or overuse.
Using techniques such as deep tissue massage, compression, stretching, and myofascial work, sports massage helps increase circulation, reduce muscle soreness, and improve flexibility and range of motion. It can be beneficial before or after exercise, during training cycles, or as part of a regular recovery routine.
Sports massage is ideal for athletes, runners, cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone with an active lifestyle who wants to keep their body moving comfortably and efficiently.
Regular sports massage may help:
• Reduce muscle tightness and soreness
• Improve mobility and flexibility
• Support faster recovery after workouts
• Help prevent overuse injuries
• Enhance overall movement and performance
